Nokia to Modernize Deutsche Telekom's Optical Transport Network

05:06 AM EST, 02/08/2021 (MT Newswires) -- Nokia (NOK) said premarket Monday that it was chosen by Deutsche Telekom to upgrade its optical transport network into a more scalable and automated service-centric platform.

The Finnish telecommunication infrastructure company said it will deploy its WaveFabric service-ready platforms and WaveSuite software portfolio to modernize the German mobile operator's optical transport network.

Financial details were not disclosed.

Nokia rose more than 2% in premarket trading.
