STOCKS:

The benchmark BSE Sensex .BSESN rose 176.43 points, or 0.26%, to 67,695.43, while the broader NSE index .NSEI advanced 57.4 points, or 0.29%, to 20,160.5, on the back of a rally in U.S. equities. .BO


RUPEE:

The Indian rupee INR=IN weakened 0.02% versus the U.S. dollar to 83.06 after the dollar index rallied on robust U.S. data. INR/


GOVERNMENT BONDS:

The benchmark 10-year bond IN071833G=CC was quoted at 100.50 rupees, with the yield unchanged at 7.1075% amid optimism over inclusion of local bonds in global indexes and worries over oil prices. IN/


OVERNIGHT INDEX SWAPS:

The one-year overnight index swap rate INRAMONMI1Y= was up 1 bps at 7.00%, while the benchmark five-year swap rate INRSMONMI5Y= rose 2 bps to 6.67%.


CALL MONEY/REPOS:

India's overnight call money INROND= rate was up 10 bps at 6.80%. The overnight TREPS rate INTREPTOT=TCCL was at 6.77%, compared with the previous day's weighted average of 6.7539%.
