Zhitong Finance App News, Anyuan Coal Industry (600397.SH) announced that in order to deeply learn the lessons of the Xinyu “1.24” fire accident, the company will stop production and rectify the Shangzhuang Coal Mine, Shanxi Coal Mine, and Liushe Coal Mine in the Fengcheng area to which it belongs on January 27 in accordance with safety supervision requirements.

According to reports, the company's approved annual production capacity of the three pairs of mines mentioned above is 1.03 million tons, accounting for 42.7% of the company's total approved production capacity; as of September 30, 2023, it had produced 517,000 tons of commercial coal, achieving operating income of 362.71 million yuan, accounting for 7.4% of the company's total revenue (unaudited). Since it is currently impossible to determine the exact time for the coal mine mentioned above to resume production, the impact of this shutdown and rectification on the company's production and performance throughout the year cannot be accurately estimated.
