China Academy of Information and Communications Technology: In the fourth quarter of 2023, China's Internet investment and financing disclosure amount fell 34.1% month-on-month

The Zhitong Finance App learned that recently, the Internet Operation Analysis Team of the Institute of Policy and Economics of the China Academy of Information and Communication Technology released the “Internet Investment and Financing Operation Status for the Fourth Quarter of 2023" report. The data shows that China's Internet investment and financing is hovering at a low level. 2023Q4, the number of Internet investment and financing cases in China fell 8.6% month-on-month and 44.5% year-on-year; the amount disclosed fell 34.1% month-on-month and 27.2% year-on-year.

Global internet investment and financing continues to decline. 2023Q4, the number of global Internet investment and financing cases rose 0.4% month-on-month and fell 11.7% year-on-year; disclosed amounts rose 6.1% month-on-month and fell 12.5% year-on-year.

The share of early round investments increased sequentially. 2023Q4, the proportion of early-round investment cases in China increased 3.1 percentage points month-on-month, and the proportion of early-round investment cases in the world increased 1.4 percentage points month-on-month.
