On the morning of October 15, Kang Yi, director of the National Bureau of Statistics, met with Batdawa Batmonkh, director of the Mongolian National Bureau of Statistics in Beijing. The two sides signed the “Memorandum of Understanding on Statistical Cooperation between the National Bureau of Statistics of China and the National Bureau of Statistics of Mongolia”. Kang Yi welcomed Director Bartmonch's visit. Kang Yi pointed out that since China and Mongolia established diplomatic relations 75 years ago, the two countries have continued to deepen exchanges and cooperation in various fields, setting a model for exchanges between countries. Since the two countries' statistical agencies signed a cooperation agreement in 2005, the two sides have enhanced mutual understanding, shared ideas and experiences, and promoted common progress through various methods such as exchanging personnel visits, organizing training, and attending meetings. The signing of a new memorandum of understanding on cooperation will open a new chapter in Sino-Mongolian statistical cooperation. It is hoped that in the future, the two sides can carry out deeper and more practical cooperation in fields of common interest and work together to promote the development and progress of statistics between the two countries.
