Toho Co Ltd is a Japan-based company mainly involved in the film business, intellectual property (IP) and animation business, theater business, real estate business, and other businesses. There are four business segments. The Film Business segment handles domestic distribution to movie theaters, use and licensing of theatrical films and other video content, movie theater management, and art production related to video works. The IP and Animation Business segment handles the use and licensing of television anime works and other video content, use and licensing of merchandising rights, and sales of merchandise. The Theater Business segment handles the production and performance of theatrical works. The Real Estate Business segment handles real estate leasing, road maintenance and cleaning, and property maintenance and management. The Company also includes the management of sports facilities.
