Harvard Apparatus Regenerative Technology, Inc. is a clinical-stage biotechnology company. The Company is targeting the conditions of the esophagus, including traumatic injury, caustic burns, tissue damage following chemoradiation therapy and birth defects. Its additional product candidates in its development pipeline are targeted at the reconstruction of the colon and uterus wound repair. Its product candidate includes Cellspan Esophageal Implant, and Cellspan Bronchial Implants. It is developing Cellspan Esophageal Implant for the treatment of esophageal atresia. Esophageal atresia is a birth disorder of the digestive system in which the esophagus does not develop properly. Cellspan Bronchial Implants enables the surgeon to preserve the lung and repair the bronchus through various surgical resection.
