US existing home sales drop in March; median price increases
US existing home sales drop in March; median price increases 4.8% from a year earlier. Home sales dropped 4.3% last month to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 4.19 million units. Sales fell in the densely populated South, the Midwest and the West. Housing inventory jumped 4.7% to 1.11 million units in March.
