Conavi Medical Corp. is a Canada-based medical device company. The Company is focused on designing, manufacturing, and marketing imaging technologies to guide common minimally invasive cardiovascular procedures. The Novasight Hybrid System is intended for intravascular imaging of coronary arteries and is indicated in patients who are candidates for transluminal interventional procedures. Its Novasight Hybrid System combines both intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) and optical coherence tomography (OCT) to enable simultaneous and co-registered imaging of coronary arteries. Hybrid IVUS and OCT imaging provides additional information over single modality imaging in complex lesions. The versatility of hybrid imaging is useful for a variety of complex percutaneous coronary interventions (PCIs), including situations where the customer may want to image large ostial lesions with IVUS but also use OCT for diseased distal lesions and/or stent assessment.
