Techpoint,Inc. is principally engaged in the design, marketing and sale of mixed signal integrated circuits for surveillance cameras and in-vehicle camera systems. The Company’s main products include transmission semiconductors mounted on cameras and reception semiconductors mounted on digital video recorders (DVRs). The Company is also involved in the design and sale of high definition transport video interface (HD-TVI) semiconductors (Tx) and image receiving semiconductors (Rx) for high definition (HD) resolution analog camera systems of surveillance cameras and in-vehicle cameras. The Company has two subsidiaries. Its Japanese subsidiary is engaged in the design of semiconductors and the provision of customer/technical support. Its Chinese subsidiary is engaged in the provision of customer/technical support as well.
