RPT Realty is a real estate investment trust (REIT). The Company is engaged in the business of owning and operating a portfolio of open-air shopping destinations principally located in the United States markets. The Company’s portfolio consists of community, lifestyle and power center properties tenanted by national and regional chain stores, supermarkets. Its centers also include entertainment components, including theaters, fitness centers and restaurants. The Company's portfolio consisted of approximately 50 multi-tenant shopping centers, including five shopping centers owned through a joint venture; 15 net lease retail properties, all of which are owned through a separate joint venture and 13 net lease retail properties that were held for sale by the Company, called the aggregate portfolio, which together represent approximately 12.6 million square feet of gross leasable area (GLA).
