Public Service Enterprise Group Incorporated (PSEG) is a holding company. The Company also operates as an energy company that is consisting primarily of a regulated electric and gas utility and a nuclear generation business. The Company principally conducts its business through two direct wholly owned subsidiaries, Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) and PSEG Power LLC (PSEG Power). Its segments include PSE&G and PSEG Power. Its PSE&G segment is principally engaged in the transmission of electricity and distribution of electricity and natural gas in certain areas of New Jersey. PSE&G segment also invests in regulated solar generation projects and energy-related programs in New Jersey.
