Desert Peak Minerals Inc. is a mineral and royalty company. The Company is engaged in acquiring, owning and managing mineral and royalty interests in the Permian Basin. The Company focuses on investing in Permian Basin mineral and royalty interests. Its primary objective is to provide a return to stockholders by acquiring mineral and royalty interests in the Permian Basin. The Permian Basin includes three geologic provinces: the Delaware Basin to the west, the Midland Basin to the east and the Central Basin Platform in between. The Delaware Basin is identified by an amount of oil-in-place, stacked pay potential across an approximately 3,900-foot hydrocarbon column. Midland Basin is also identified by an amount of oil-in-place stacked pay potential across an approximately 3,500-foot hydrocarbon column. It owns mineral and royalty interests in approximately 104,000 net royalty acres (NRAs).
