CareTrust REIT, Inc. is a self-administered, self-managed real estate investment trust (REIT). The Company is engaged in acquiring, financing, developing and owning real property to be leased to third-party tenants in the healthcare sector. The Company owns and leases to independent operators approximately 215 skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), multi-service campuses, assisted living facilities (ALFs), and independent living facilities (ILFs) consisting of 22,727 operational beds and units located in 28 states located in California, Texas, Louisiana, Idaho and Arizona.
