Amprius Technologies, Inc. is a manufacturer of high-energy and high-power lithium-ion batteries. Its batteries are primarily used for existing and emerging aviation applications, including unmanned aerial systems, such as drones and high-altitude pseudo satellites. It offers high performance silicon anode batteries under the product platforms, such as SiMaxx and SiCore. Its SiMaxx high energy battery cells are designed to maximize specific energy for applications with low power requirements. It designed its SiMaxx balanced energy/power battery cells for applications that require a balance between power and energy. Its SiCore battery cells are based on a silicon anode material system delivering high-energy-density silicon anode batteries. The Company is also developing an electric vehicle (EV)-capable cell.
