Habersham Bancorp is a bank holding company that operates through its wholly owned subsidiary, Habersham Bank (the Bank). Habersham Bank operates a full-service commercial banking business based in Habersham, White, Cherokee, Warren, Stephens, Forsyth and Hall Counties, Georgia, providing such customary banking services as checking and savings accounts, various types of time deposits, safe deposit facilities and individual retirement accounts. It also makes secured and unsecured loans, and provides other financial services to its customers. Habersham Bank offers a spectrum of trust services, including trust administration, asset management services, estate and will probate and administration, and other services in the area of personal trusts. Habersham Bank’s main office is located in Cornelia, Georgia, and it has nine branch offices. Habersham Bank had one subsidiary, Advantage Insurers, Inc., a property, casualty and life insurance agency, which was sold December 30, 2009.
