The property is situated in the Hearne craton area with extensive Archean and Paleoproterozoic gneissic-granitic terrains, volcano-sedimentary greenstone belts and large Paleoproterozoic batholiths. The Ferguson Lake Project contains an indicated mineral resource of over 66.1 million tons.
