PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk, formerly PT Bukit Asam Tbk, is an Indonesia-based mining company. The Company’s segments include Coal and Others. The Coal Segment includes general investigation activities, exploration, exploitation, processing, refining, transportation and trading, maintenance of special coal dock facilities for both its own needs and those of other parties, and operation of steam power plants for both its own needs and those of other parties. The Company has a coal mining business permit (IUP) covering an area of approximately 65,632 hectares (Ha) spread across several locations in the provinces of South Sumatra, West Sumatra, and Riau. In addition, the Company also has a coal mine located in East Kalimantan Province. It operates several coal mines in Sumatra, producing various types of coal, including sub‑bituminous and bituminous coal. The Others segment includes contractor services, briquette processing, palm oil plantations, palm oil processing, and health services.
