Resolute Mining Ltd is an Australia-based company. It is a gold miner, developer, and explorer company. It owns two producing gold mines: the Syama Gold Mine in Mali (Syama) and the Mako Gold Mine in Senegal (Mako). Syama is in the southwest of Mali, over 30 kilometers (km) from the Cote d’Ivoire border and 300 km southeast of Bamako. Syama Gold Mine is a large-scale operation comprising the Syama Underground Mine, Tabakoroni Complex, Syama North Resource and several satellite oxide pits, along with sulphide and oxide processing facilities and the Syama Sulphide Conversion Project. The Mako Gold Mine, located in eastern Senegal is an open-pit operation with potential life extension through nearby deposits such as Tomboronkoto and Bantaco. Its projects include the Doropo Gold Project and ABC Project in Cote d’Ivoire. Doropo is advancing as a development project, while ABC is an exploration project located northwest of Abidjan.
