Merck KGaA is a Germany-based science and technology company. The Company operates in three business segments: Healthcare, Life Sciences and Electronics. The Healthcare business segment is operating in the therapeutic areas of oncology, neurology & immunology and fertility as well as cardiovascular, metabolic and endocrinological disorders. The Life Sciences segment is operating with its three business units such as, Science & Lab Solutions, Process Solutions and Life Science Services. It is also a supplier of products, tools and services for research laboratories, pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical production as well as industrial and testing laboratories. The Electronics business segment consists of the Semiconductor Solutions, Display Solutions and Surface Solutions business units.
