Electricity Generating Public Company Limited is a Thailand-based holding company, which is focused on the power business and other related business. The principal business operation of the Company is the generation of electricity for sale to the government sector and industrial users. The Company operates through two segments: electricity generation and other businesses. The Electricity generation segment is engaged in operating electricity for sales to the government and industrial users. Other businesses are comprised of maintenance and operating services for power plants, engineering services, coal mining business and oil pipeline systems business. The Company’s power plants presently generate electricity using several fuel sources, such as natural gas, coal, biomass, hydro, solar, wind, and fuel cells, which partly enhance power security. Its subsidiaries include Khanom Electricity Generating Co., Ltd, EGCO Engineering and Service Co., Ltd., and EGCO Green Energy Co., Ltd.
