Akwaaba Mining Ltd is a Canada-based junior exploration company focused on advancing greenfield and early stage gold projects. The Company is in the business of exploration and evaluation of mineral properties in Ghana, Africa. It holds a strategic 141 square kilometer land package; Kunsu prospecting license, strategically placed on the Asankragua Manso Nkwanta gold belt in Ghana, West Africa. It owns a 100% interest in Kunsu Prospecting License located in the Ahafo Ano South District of the Ashanti Region of Ghana, subject to 1.5% Net Smelter Royalty (NSR) to Wononuo Investment Limited. The Kunsu Gold Concession is located approximately 35 Km Northwest of Kumasi and 240 Km Northwest of Accra. Access to the license area is mainly by way of the Kumasi-Sunyani highway and then turning northwest at Mankranso to Kunsu township. The property is centered approximately at Latitude 6°48’00 North and Longitude 1° 56.00 West (WGS84 Zone 30N).
