Burzynski Research Institute, Inc. is engaged in the research, production, marketing, promotion and sale of certain medical chemical compounds composed of growth-inhibiting peptides, amino acid derivatives, and organic acids, which are known under the trade name Antineoplastons. Antineoplastons are useful in the treatment of human cancer. The Company is reviewing data from its Phase II clinical trials of Antineoplastons relating to the treatment of various cancers. Antineoplastons are found in the bodily fluids of humans and food. The Company conducted all the Phase II clinical trials for the treatment of a variety of cancers using the combination of Antineoplastons A10 and AS2-1. Clinical trials conducted by the Company primarily use intravenous formulations of Antineoplastons, though few trials also use oral formulations. The Company's clinical trials are conducted at the Burzynski Clinic.
