Astral Foods Limited is an investment holding company. The Company is an integrated poultry producer, which is engaged in manufacturing of animal feeds, broiler genetics, production and sale of day-old broiler and hatching eggs, breeder and broiler production, abattoir and further processing operations and sales, and distribution of various poultry brands. It operates through two segments: Poultry and Feed. It has approximately four fully integrated broiler production, processing, distribution, sales and marketing operations with a combined processing capacity of approximately 6,200,000 processed broilers per week. Its business units include Festive, Goldi, Mountain Valley, County Fair, National Chicks, Ross 308, Meadow Feeds, Provimi SSA, CAL, Tiger Chicks and Tiger Animal Feeds. It has poultry operations in South Africa and Zambia, and feed mills in South Africa and Zambia.
