Urano Energy Corp. is a mineral exploration company. It holds numerous advanced conventional uranium projects hosting historic resources and mining lode claims in the Colorado Plateau, a region with a rich history of uranium and vanadium mining. It holds over 22 properties, totaling 1086 unpatented mineral claims (claims), plus three Utah State mineral leases, covering 24,500 acres, or 98 square kilometers (km2). Its projects include Lisbon Valley District, La Sal District, San Rafael District, La Sal Creek Area, Colorado-Utah, Northern Uravan District, Central Uravan District, Southern Uravan District and Other Assets. Its Sun uranium project is located in easternmost Utah between the Uravan, Lisbon Valley and La Sal uranium districts. Its Blue Jay Mine Uranium Project comprises 28 mineral claims covering about 560 acres, located over 30 miles south of Moab, San Juan County, Utah, within the La Sal Uranium District. Its Melinda Project is in the San Rafeal uranium district in Utah.
