Star Gold Corp. is an exploration stage company. The Company is engaged in the business of exploring, evaluating and acquiring mineral prospects with the potential for economic deposits of precious and base metals. It is focused on developing its property, the Longstreet Property. The Longstreet Property is located in Nye County, Nevada. The Longstreet Property in its entirety comprises 142 mineral claims, 75 original optioned claims, of which 70 are unpatented staked claims and five claims leased from local ranchers, pursuant to the Clifford Lease, as well as 50 claims subsequently staked by the Company. The Longstreet Property covers a total area of approximately 2,500 acres (1,012 ha). The Company intends to remain in the business of exploring for mining properties that have the potential to produce gold, silver, base metals, and other commodities.
