The Bank’s business consists primarily of taking deposits from the public and investing those deposits, together with funds generated from operations and borrowings, in one- to four-family residential mortgage loans and agricultural real estate loans secured by properties located in its primary market area. The Bank also originates consumer loans, multifamily real estate loans, commercial real estate loans, construction and land loans, home equity lines of credit, and commercial and industrial loans. The Bank originates indirect automobile loans from car dealerships. The Bank offers a variety of deposit accounts, including checking accounts, savings accounts and certificates of deposit. The Bank's primary market area for loan originations and deposit gathering is Mercer and Darke Counties in western Ohio and contiguous areas, including Adams and Jay Counties in eastern Indiana.
