International Star, Inc. operates, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Budding Equity Inc. (BEi), which owns and licenses intellectual property (IP) through contracts with movie studios and celebrities and structures licensing deals with third parties for cannabis-related products. The Company also maintains joint ventures with affiliates of Ice Cube and Kevin Smith to license and brand cannabis and cannabis-related products. A core focus of it remains acquiring and developing businesses with high growth potential in the cannabis space and beyond. Its IP portfolio encompasses Ice Cube's Good Day and Fryday cannabis lines, Kevin Smith's Snoogens, Berzerker and Snoochie Boochies offerings, Jay and Silent Bob accessories, and manufacturing collaborations with Paramount's Cheech and Chong Up in Smoke and Trailer Park Boyz. In addition, the Company made two film-related investments, in a film project with the working title, All My Friends Are Dead and in a production company, B Studios.
