Global Water Technologies, Inc. integrates a variety of products and services to improve water efficiency. The Company operates in three areas: non-chemical water treatment solutions, trenchless technology solutions that use physical tools to improve underground pipes, and smart water solutions that use digital tools and data to improve drinking water distribution. The Company works to develop, commercialize and distribute products and services that improve the efficient use of water resources. Its legacy non-chemical water treatment device is developed to reduce scale and fouling in cooling towers. It is also distributing a non-chemical treatment system that uses UV-C LED technology to disinfect water. It has also licensed a version of capacitive deionization technology that removes salt from water. The Company produces the ED2000 line of products. ED2000 uses a proprietary controller and offset coil fitted around a pipe to deliver an oscillating electric field to treat water.
