Does Miller Industries (NYSE:MLR) Have A Healthy Balance Sheet?
Miller Industries, Inc. (NYSE:MLR) has US$55.0m of debt, but its net debt is less than its earnings. The company uses debt to fund its growth, and has a strong balance sheet. Miller Industries's debt is only 0.27 times its earnings, and it is growing its EBIT by 127% last year. This shows that the company's use of debt is not a major concern for Miller Industries. But the company does have to pay off its debt with cold hard cash, which is risky.
