HighPoint Resources Corporation is an exploration and production company. The Company is engaged in the exploration, development and production of oil, natural gas and natural gas liquids (NGLs). The Company conducts its activities, principally in the Denver Julesburg Basin (DJ Basin) in Colorado. The DJ Basin is an oil development area where operators are targeting the Niobrara and Codell formations and employing new technologies. It has interests in approximately 566 gross producing wells and it serves as operator of approximately 451 gross wells. The Company’s Northeast Wattenberg and Hereford fields of the DJ Basin are located in rural areas of the eastern plains of Colorado and parts of southeastern Wyoming. The Company is also focused on the development oil and natural gas in the Rocky Mountain region of the United States.
