About WHLR
Wheeler Real Estate Investment Trust, Inc. is a fully integrated, self-managed commercial real estate investment company. The Company owns, leases, and operates income-producing retail properties with a primary focus on grocery-anchored centers. It owns a portfolio consisting of sixty-five properties, including sixty-two retail shopping centers, totaling 7,018,837 leasable square feet and three undeveloped land parcels totaling approximately seven acres. The properties are geographically located in the Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, and Northeast. The Company generally leases its properties to national and regional supermarket chains and selects retailers that offer necessary and value-oriented services and items and generate regular consumer traffic. Among its properties, 18 of these properties are located in South Carolina, 11 in Georgia, 10 in Virginia, seven in Pennsylvania, five in North Carolina, two in New Jersey, two in Florida, two in Connecticut and two in Kentucky.
