OFS Capital Corporation is an externally managed, closed-end, non-diversified management investment company that has elected to be regulated as a business development company. The Company's investment objective is to provide stockholders with both current income and capital appreciation primarily through debt investments and, to a lesser extent, equity investments. The Company's investment strategy is focused primarily on investments in middle-market companies in the United States, including investments in senior secured loans, which are comprised of first lien, second lien and unitranche loans, as well as investments in subordinated loans and, to a lesser extent, common stock, preferred stock and other equity securities. The Company's investments may be directly originated or may be purchased on a secondary basis in the United States leveraged loan market for Broadly Syndicated Loans.
