Donegal Group Inc. is an insurance holding company. The Company, through its insurance subsidiaries and affiliates, offer property and casualty insurance in 21 Mid-Atlantic, Midwestern, Southern and Southwestern states. Its segments include investment function, commercial lines of insurance and personal lines of insurance. The commercial lines products of its insurance subsidiaries consist primarily of commercial automobile, commercial multi-peril, and worker's compensation policies. The personal lines products of its insurance subsidiaries consist primarily of homeowners and private passenger automobile policies. Its insurance subsidiaries are Atlantic States Insurance Company, Michigan Insurance Company, the Peninsula Insurance Group and Southern Insurance Company of Virginia.
