EVmo, Inc. is a holding company. The Company primarily rents vehicles to drivers for ridesharing transportation network companies (TNCs) such as Uber and Lyft, as well as drivers in the delivery gig-economy. The Company operates through its two subsidiaries: Rideshare Car Rentals LLC (Rideshare) and Distinct Cars, LLC (Distinct Cars). Rideshare offers an online booking platform (the Rideshare Platform). Distinct Cars maintains a fleet of passenger vehicles and transit vans for use in the last-mile logistical space for rent to its customers, who are drivers in the ridesharing and delivery gig industries. It provides insurance coverage by issuing them insurance cards in their own names. Drivers can rent their vehicles using the Rideshare Platform that enables them to check inventory and performance and review vehicle data. It offers mobile and Web applications for drivers and fleet owners. The Rideshare Platform is available on desktop, iPhone operating system (iOS) and Android devices.
