Its technology utilizes virosomes, lipid-based carriers containing functional fusion viral proteins and natural membrane proteins, in combination with rationally designed antigens. Its prophylactic HIV-1 vaccine candidate is constituted of virosomes linked to conserved antigens derived from the HIV-1 glycoprotein 41 (gp41) proteins from the clade B. The RSV vaccine consists of the reconstituted membrane of RSV containing the native viral proteins. The HSV vaccine candidate consists of the reconstituted membrane of HSV-1 or HSV-2. The intranasal influenza vaccine includes the reconstituted membrane of influenza virus.
