Versant Power is a regulated electric transmission and distribution utility, which is engaged in establishing an electricity grid, a system of poles, wires, substations, meters, and other equipment. The Company provides electric delivery service to two areas: the Bangor Hydro District and the Maine Public District. It is engaged in serving approximately 165,000 customer accounts in northern and eastern Maine. Its programs and services include Maine Green Power, P.L.U.S. Program, budget billing, Fund, light Program, Low Income Assistance, Arrearage Program, Dirigo Business Incentive Credit, and others. It offers a range of energy solutions, including Breaker Test with an Electromechanical (Dial) Meter, Breaker Test with a Digital Meter, Electrical Rate Calculator, Netb Energy Billing, Connecting Renewable sources, and others. It has approximately 375 transmission and distribution circuits with 1,400 transmission and distribution protection and switching devices.
