The Amacore Group, Inc. (Amacore) is primarily a provider and marketer of healthcare-related membership products, such as limited and major medical insurance programs, supplemental medical insurance and discount dental and vision programs for individuals and families. It distributes these products and services through various distribution methods such as its agent network, inbound call center, in-house sales representatives, network marketing and affinity marketing partners, as well as through third-party direct response marketers. Its secondary line of business is to provide and market lifestyle membership programs through these same marketing channels. The Company operates through five different business divisions: LifeGuard Benefit Services Division, U.S. Health Benefits Group Division, Zurvita Holdings Inc., JRM Benefits Consultants Division and Corporate and Other Division. In August 2009, the Company announced the spin off of its Zurvita division to Red Sun Mining, Inc.
