ELECTION: Prime Minister Andrej Babis will start final campaigning of his ANO party ahead of Oct 8-9 election.
BUDGET DEFICIT GROWS: The Czech 2021 central state budget showed a 298.1 billion crown ($13.85 billion) deficit at the end of August, mainly due to hikes in pensions, coronavirus aid and tax cuts, Finance Ministry data showed on Wednesday.
