MOVES-JPMorgan appoints Australian and NZ ECM leaders -memo

- JPMorgan JPM.N has appointed Simone Haslinger and Jonas Troeber to head its Australian and New Zealand equity capital markets (ECM) business, according to a memorandum from the bank.

Haslinger joined JPMorgan in 2010 and has over 16 years experience working in ECM on transactions worth more than A$70 billion ($53.70 billion), the memo said.

A JPMorgan spokesman confirmed the contents of the memo.

Troeber has been with the bank since last year after he joined as the head of ECM syndicate for Australia and New Zealand.

Prior to JPMorgan, Troeber worked for Morgan Stanley MS.N for 14 years in Australia and Hong Kong.

The pair replace Jabe Jerram and Dyson Bowditch who left JPMorgan last week to join Barrenjoey Capital, according to local media reports.
