DJ American Resources Up 41% as Affiliated Blank-Check Company Files for IPO

American Resources Corp. shares Friday rose 41% to $6.58 as an affiliated blank-check company filed for a $100 million initial public offering.
American Acquisition Opportunity Inc. said it plans to focus on land holdings and resources, seeking "a modern-day business model of clean energy, recycling and redevelopment, and social impact."
American Resources provides raw materials including metallurgical carbon and rare earth minerals.
