Standex International Reports Higher Fiscal Q2 Adjusted Profit
06:53 AM EST, 02/05/2021 (MT Newswires) -- Standex International (SXI) on Thursday reported Q2 adjusted earnings of $1.05 per share, up from $0.99 per share a year ago.
Analysts polled by Capital IQ were expecting adjusted EPS of $1.00.
The diversified manufacturer reported sales of $156.3 million, a slight decline from $153.7 million last year. The average analyst forecast was for sales of $153.4 million.
"In fiscal third quarter 2021, we expect a moderate revenue and operating margin improvement compared to fiscal second quarter 2021 results," said CEO David Dunbar. "This reflects a sequential revenue increase at the Electronics, Scientific, Engineering Technologies, and Specialty Solutions segments."
