With a market cap. of $22.1 billion, Tapestry, Inc. (TPR) is a global house of iconic brands, bringing together Coach and Kate Spade New York to deliver timeless craftsmanship, modern innovation, and meaningful experiences for customers and communities. The Amplify strategy empowers the brands and their teams to grow boldly, fostering creativity, inclusivity, and the courage to be authentic.

The New York-based company is expected to announce its Q1 2027 results before the market opens on Thursday, Nov. 5. Ahead of this event, analysts expect Tapestry to report an adjusted EPS of $1.55, up 12.3% from $1.38 in the year-ago quarter. It has exceeded Wall Street's earnings estimates in each of the last four quarters.

Shares of Tapestry have fallen 4.4% over the past 52 weeks, underperforming both the S&P 500 Index's ($SPX) 12.4% gain and the State Street Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR ETF's (XLY) 4.3% decline over the period.

Tapestry shares tumbled 16.5% on Aug. 13 after the company forecast annual revenue of $8.4 billion - $8.5 billion, with the midpoint slightly below analysts’ estimate. The outlook was weighed down by persistent weakness at Kate Spade, where sales fell 7%, while North American revenue growth slowed to 7%, reflecting cautious consumer spending and macroeconomic uncertainty. Although Q4 2026 adjusted EPS of $1.32 beat the estimate and sales rose 8.9% to $1.88 billion, investors were disappointed that Coach’s 14% sales growth was not enough to offset Kate Spade’s struggles and the muted annual outlook.

However, analysts' consensus view on TPR stock is bullish, with an overall "Strong Buy" rating. Among 22 analysts covering the stock, 16 recommend "Strong Buy," one suggests "Moderate Buy," and five indicate “Hold.” This configuration is slightly more bullish than three months ago, with 15 analysts suggesting a "Strong Buy."

The average analyst price target is $162.48, indicating a potential upside of 47.5% from the current levels.
