Coca Cola raised its 2026 full-year performance forecast due to strong overseas demand for soft drinks, particularly sugar-free beverages. The beverage company currently expects organic revenue to increase by at least 5% this year, compared to an increase of about 5% previously. Coca Cola had already raised its performance guidelines in July. At the time, it said that confidence in the full year's results had increased. CEO Henrique Braun said in a statement: “This quarter's results show that our business system continues to grow, which strengthens our confidence in the updated full-year guidance.” The Atlanta-based company said its carbonated soft drink sales increased 5%, with Coca-Cola Zero Sugar up 16% and Diet Cola up 6%. However, in North America, the increase in Coca-Cola soft drinks was offset by declining sales of water, sports drinks, coffee, and tea. North American sales remained flat, falling short of the 2.3% increase expected by analysts on average.
