05:36 AM EDT, 10/26/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Abu Dhabi National Oil Co., or Adnoc, is offering up to 60 billion Emirati dirhams in domestic manufacturing opportunities through 2030 as the state-owned company seeks to cut dependence on imports and strengthen local supply chains. Adnoc is also transforming its procurement, supplier registration and in-country value frameworks, reducing purchasing cycles by up to 40% and supplier registration times by up to 80%. The diversified energy and petrochemicals group disclosed the initiatives on Sunday during its second Make it with ADNOC Forum. The manufacturing opportunities cover more than 200 essential products and critical spare parts, including drilling equipment, electrical systems, chemicals and catalysts, and heavy equipment. "Every product we can competitively manufacture here strengthens our ability to deliver. The changes announced today connect that ambition to practical action, from faster supplier registration and more competitive procurement to long-term partnerships that support investment. We want our partners to grow with us, and we want that growth to create lasting value for the UAE," said Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Adnoc's group chief executive and the UAE's minister of industry and advanced technology. The group will also collaborate with the ministry and the Abu Dhabi Investment Office to provide local manufacturers access to the national industrial database and financing through the National Industrial Resilience Fund. Adnoc also expanded its Local+ program, which gives priority to locally made products in the company's projects and supply chain, to more than 100 UAE manufacturers, up from 70 at its launch in May.
