The reporter learned today from a press conference held by the General Administration of Market Regulation that since this year, the General Administration of Market Supervision has strengthened supervision of the entire chain and issued the “General Rules for the Examination of Qualifications and Licenses for Certification Agencies” to systematically raise the professional competency requirements of certifying personnel and strengthen verification of the continuous compliance of certification institutions' competencies. Since this year, 30 certification bodies that are unable to continue to maintain their legal capacity and conditions have been withdrawn or cancelled, and 44 certification bodies have been urged to cancel 185 qualification fields.
