02:14 AM EDT, 10/22/2026 (MT Newswires) -- AlphaValue/Baader Europe raised its EPS estimate for Iberdrola (IBE.MC) as part of a model update after the Spanish electric utility's third-quarter results. In a Wednesday note, the research firm lifted its full-year 2027 EPS estimate to 1.13 euros from 1.11 euros, reflecting Iberdrola's updated guidance of 10% average annual adjusted net profit growth over the next five years. Meanwhile, the 2026 EPS forecast was unchanged at 1.02 euros, as AlphaValue/Baader Europe's assumptions sit above the previous company outlook of "comfortably" above 8% and are closely aligned with the new target of "at least" 10%. "The main drivers are faster networks growth, with RAB brought forward to above EUR90bn by 2030, and transmission doubling to c.EUR30bn, the consolidation of Caruna from Q1 2027, lower minorities following the Neoenergia buyout, and P&C repricing as new sales close at higher prices," analysts said. AlphaValue/Baader Europe rates the stock at add, with a price target of 23.3 euros.
