According to information from the Chinese Embassy in Saudi Arabia, in the early morning of October 22, the Saudi General Administration of Civil Aviation issued an announcement stating that King Fahd International Airport in Dammam was attacked on the evening of October 21. It has now caused 1 death and 8 injuries, and material damage is still being assessed. According to other official sources, an Air Aden airliner was damaged in this attack, and 1 person on board was injured. Over the past few days, airports and important facilities in Saudi Arabia's Riyadh, Dammam and other places have continued to be attacked by missiles and drones. There is still no accurate information on the resumption of operations at Riyadh King Khalid International Airport and some southern city airports. Large-scale abnormalities often occur on flights in other cities. The Chinese Embassy and Consulate in Saudi Arabia once again reminds Chinese-funded institutions and Chinese citizens in Saudi Arabia to raise awareness of safety precautions, reduce unnecessary outings, stay away from sensitive areas such as airports, oil facilities, military bases, etc., and not photograph military operations or sensitive facilities. It is recommended not to travel to Saudi Arabia by air in the near future. Passengers who have already purchased tickets should keep in close contact with the relevant airlines and keep an eye on flight changes and relevant airport conditions. In the event of a dispute, keep relevant evidence and defend rights rationally. Those who intend to enter or leave Saudi Arabia by land from a third country should pay attention to the relevant country's entry regulations and carry important documents. Be sure to pay attention to traffic safety and abide by traffic rules when traveling long distances.
