According to the Zhitong Finance App, Yaojiekang-B (02617) announced that the new drug Gentel® (tengotinib tablets) independently developed by the company has obtained conditional approval from the National Drug Administration (NMPA) for the treatment of adult patients with advanced, metastatic, or inoperable cholangiocarcinoma who have received systemic treatment and FGFR inhibitor treatment in the past and have fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR) 2 fusion or rearrangement. In September 2026, the “Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology (CSCO) Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Biliary Malignant Tumors” was officially released, and Gentec® was included as a Level II Recommended Class 2A guideline for the treatment of advanced biliary tract malignancies. Gentech® is the first drug marketed and approved for this indication in China. It is expected to benefit drug-resistant patients with FGFR mutant cholangiocarcinoma and fill gaps in guidelines for the treatment of advanced biliary tract malignancies.

On September 9, 2026, the first batch of Gentec® products completed production and successfully shipped from the factory. On September 17, 2026, the first batch of Gentec® products were officially shipped from commercial channels to pharmacies across the country, and commercial supply officially began nationwide; on the same day, Gentec® issued the first national prescription at Peking University Cancer Hospital, marking that Gentec® has officially entered the commercial sales stage in China. Recently, Gentec® issued the first batch of clinical prescriptions in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong, Jiangsu and other provinces, and DTP pharmacies across the country completed simultaneous distribution. In the future, Gentech® will rely on the strong terminal distribution capabilities and mature warehousing and logistics network of Sinopharm Holdings Jiangsu Co., Ltd. (China Control Jiangsu) to further sell at many retail pharmacies in 21 provinces, cities and autonomous regions across the country, and fully expand the national commercial supply system.
