In the first three quarters, Shanghai achieved total retail sales of social consumer goods of 1216.134 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 1.1%. Retail sales of consumer goods excluding automobiles increased 1.0% year over year. By category, among the units above the quota, retail sales of clothing, shoes, hats, and textiles increased 6.2% year on year, retail sales of grain, oil, and food products increased 4.9%, retail sales of furniture increased 7.4%, and daily necessities increased 1.1%.
